Rotherham Community Litter Pick

On Thursday the 24th of March, Ex Animo Foods partnered up Rotherham Metropolitan’s Street Pride for a community litter pick. Over 50 employee volunteers attended from all job roles and got stuck in, smartening up over 10 miles of Rotherham’s busiest street and roads. Teams of staff covered the Town Centre, Dalton, Parkgate, Canklow and Bramley in a hope to lead the ‘Keep it Tidy’ campaign that is running throughout the community, with schools, businesses and volunteers all involved.

Cllr Dominic Beck, Rotherham Council cabinet member for environment, said: “The council’s vision is to create a clean and welcoming environment across our borough, and in turn secure our natural environment for the next generation.

“Spring Clean encourages people to help towards that goal here in Rotherham and across Great Britain. That’s why we’re getting out and encouraging others to do the same.”
